Paint and gelcoat correction is all about safely restoring the surface. Every GrimeTech correction service follows the same basic process: proper preparation, machine correction, and ceramic protection.
Whether we're working on a car, truck, boat, or RV, we first clean and decontaminate the surface before any polishing begins. From there, we perform the correction level needed for the condition of the finish and protect the completed surface when we're finished.
Correction starts with a properly cleaned and decontaminated surface. Polishing contaminated paint can create additional defects, so preparation is an important part of every job.
We select the appropriate pads, compounds, and polishing stages based on the condition of the surface and the correction level selected.
Once correction is complete, the surface is cleaned and protected so the freshly restored finish isn't left bare.

Automotive pricing is based on the amount of machine correction required. Wet sanding, isolated deep scratches, failing paint, severe damage, and body or paint repair are inspection-based and are not automatically included in a 3-step correction.
